Who makes AnyEventTool, and what does it stand for?

Updated: · AnyEventTool

Short answer

AnyEventTool (AET) is an independent event platform built in Ukraine by a small team; its Terms of Service name Oleksandr Rykovtsev as owner and developer. It earns money only from an optional Pro subscription ($19 a month), never from ticket sales, ads or data. Its principles: 0% fees with the organizer as merchant, communities joined only by consent, private attendee data by default, and AI used as a tool for organizers, not on attendees' data.

Key facts

  • Made in Ukraine by a small independent team
  • Owner and developer named in the Terms of Service: Oleksandr Rykovtsev
  • Revenue: Pro subscription only ($19 a month via Creem); 0% of ticket and shop sales
  • Domains: aet.events, anyeventtool.com, aet.market (storefronts), aet.community (community short links)
  • 19 interface languages, Ukrainian as the base language
  • AI: OpenAI models via API for posters, brand styles, events from source and quiz questions; never on attendee data
  • Contact: support@anyeventtool.com; press@anyeventtool.com; partners@anyeventtool.com

Why does AET exist?

Most organizers glue an event together from separate services: a site builder for the page, a form for sign-ups, a ticketing platform that takes a commission, a messenger chat, a spreadsheet of attendees and another service for a quiz. It is slow, it costs money on every ticket, and the data ends up scattered.

AET puts the whole event — and the time between events — in one place: the page, registration and tickets, check-in, the quiz on the day, and afterwards a calendar, a shop and a community. The slogan on the home page is "The best event tool ever"; it is a quality bar the team holds itself to, not a claim about other products.

Who is it for?

  • Small and mid-size organizers: meetups, workshops, courses, conferences up to a few hundred people, concerts, parties, festivals, fundraisers, children's and family events.
  • Recurring organizers, studios and communities who run events regularly and want to keep people between them.
  • Attendees, who register, get a QR ticket, play the quiz, follow calendars, buy merch and talk in communities.

It is less suited to organizers who need a discovery marketplace, native mobile apps, enterprise integrations or very large venues with complex ticketing.

How does AET make money?

Only from the Pro subscription: $19 a month, paid through Creem, cancel anytime. Ticket and shop payments go directly from guests to the organizer's own plata by mono or Stripe account, and AET takes 0% on every plan. There is no advertising, no sale of contacts and no public directory of people. Early users received a free "founding" Pro; that offer closed on 22 September 2026, and those who have it keep it.

What principles guide the product?

  • The organizer is the merchant. Money goes straight to the organizer; AET is not a payment institution and takes no commission.
  • Consent first. Events and calendars never add people to a community on their own. People join only through a checkbox, a Join button or an approved application.
  • Private by default. Community member data is visible only to hosts unless members choose to share it with each other, with safeguards against contact harvesting.
  • Safety in wartime. Venue, date or time can be revealed only to registered guests at a chosen moment, because publishing where people gather is not always safe in Ukraine.
  • Sources are not stored. Files given to AI to build an event or learn a brand style are deleted right after reading.
  • No dark patterns around limits. If you downgrade, existing events stay online and registrations keep working; only new creation is limited.
  • Your data is yours to delete. Deleting a profile switches it off immediately, leaves 30 days to restore, and then removes all content permanently.

How does AET use AI?

AI is a set of tools for the organizer, with one shared monthly allowance (Free 10 generations, Pro 100):

  • AI poster and poster images (gpt-image-1, with dall-e-3 as a fallback); people appear only from photos the organizer uploads.
  • Learning a brand style from files and a website (gpt-4o), with code checking that every color actually exists in the brand.
  • Brand stickers in the brand's colors.
  • Create event from source: a page built from links, files or text, with nothing invented — missing details stay empty.
  • Quiz questions written from event materials, links, YouTube subtitles or files.

What AI does not do: it never receives attendees' data, registrations, messages or community posts; it does not approve applicants, set prices, moderate communities or send messages; it does not translate event content; and there is no chatbot trained on user data. The interface is translated into 19 languages once, before release, with Google Translate, and English is edited by hand.

What are AET's honest limitations?

AET is a young product with a small team. It has no discovery marketplace, no native mobile apps, no public API or Zapier integration, no automated SMS or WhatsApp reminders and no built-in video streaming. Established platforms such as Eventbrite, Luma and Meetup are stronger in those areas, and this hub says so where it matters.
